With UNICEF-funded support, BITZ is developing AI-assisted triage, sentiment analysis, and escalation intelligence for OpenCHS — co-created with C-Sema practitioners so the workflow reflects how frontline responders actually work, with human review retained for high-risk decisions and models adapted for African languages and low-resource settings. This is active development work, not yet a shipped production feature.

OpenCHS holds Digital Public Good status from the Digital Public Goods Alliance (GID0092407) — third-party verification against the DPG Standard, not a self-declared credential.

Security & digital trust

Security-by-design for sensitive case data.

Given that OpenCHS handles sensitive protection case data, access control, encryption, and auditability are treated as architectural requirements, not add-ons.
