Cyrus leads BITZ's day-to-day operations, delivery, and growth across Africa. He brings 28 years of experience managing MIS, financial systems, program operations, and project management across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe, and the United States — including operations leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity AME, ENGIE, and Mercy Corps. His background spans centralized financial-system rollouts, ERP and MIS implementation oversight for regulated organizations, donor-funded project delivery in constrained environments, and large-scale systems transformation. Cyrus holds a BSc in Information Systems Technology from USIU-Africa, and is currently pursuing an MSc in International Development at SOAS, University of London, alongside PMP and Change Management Professional certification.
James founded BITZ IT Consulting in 2007 and leads the firm's strategic partnerships, international expansion, and institutional relationships — including fundraising and BITZ's growing footprint between Africa and North America. He has spent more than two decades in software engineering, systems implementation, and digital public infrastructure work across Africa, leading the design and deployment of OpenCHS, a Digital Public Good verified by the Digital Public Goods Alliance (GID0092407). His work spans national-level digital systems in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Lesotho, Somalia, and Rwanda; the World Bank-supported KDEAP digital readiness assessment for Kenya's ICT Authority; API integration work with Primero CPIMS+, OpenHMIS, and national ID systems; and programme delivery with UNICEF, UNFPA, GIZ, and the World Bank. He previously served as IT Manager at PKF Eastern Africa. James holds a BSc in Computer Science from Egerton University, PRINCE2 Foundation and MCSE certifications, and is pursuing an MSc in Information Systems at the University of Washington.
